Dear Harmony-Emge SD 175 School Community,
The Harmony-Emge SD 175 Board of Education is conducting a search for a new superintendent. The selection of a new superintendent is probably the most important decision a board of education has to make; therefore, the Board has hired the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) to assist in this process.
The Board of Education is seeking everyone’s input in the search process. The Board requests that all board members, all staff, all parents and community members complete an online survey provided by the IASB. The results will be tallied and used by the Board and Screening Team to develop a brochure to advertise the position. All survey responses and comments will remain anonymous.
To access the Community Member Survey, please click on the link below (a parent survey will be emailed to parents directly):
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/ZFBHBZV
The survey deadline is: February 21, 2023 at 11:45 p.m.
Thank you for taking time to complete the survey.
**Please note, this is the community survey, parents will receive their own email with the link.

A huge THANK YOU to Memorial Hospital/BJC for their recent approval of our $250,000 Social-Emotional Learning Grant. Over the next 3 years, this grant will cover the costs of an additional social worker, social-emotional curriculum and screeners, and various other resources that are dedicated to our district's social and emotional needs.
