October Lunch and Breakfast Menus
🎉 Our First Annual IAR Achievement Cookout was a HUGE success! 🎉
We had an incredible day celebrating our students and all of their hard work! To attend, students had to achieve Proficient or Above Proficient in both Math and ELA OR earn a growth score of 50 or higher on last year's IAR testing.
These students worked hard, set goals, and showed us what they can accomplish, and we were so excited to celebrate them!
A special thank you to all of our amazing teachers and staff who came out to celebrate with our students and helped run the event. Your support made the day even more special!
We had so much fun, lots of laughs, and a wonderful day celebrating our students’ achievements. We’re already looking forward to making this an annual tradition!
Way to go, students! We are SO proud of you!
Our Spirit Friday had a special addition this week! 💙🤍❤️
Along with showing our Eagle pride, students and staff were invited to wear maroon or Belleville West attire as we showed our support for our friends at Belleville West and District 201.
We are proud to stand together as a school community and show that our support extends far beyond our own walls. ❤️

First science lab of the year for 6th Grade! We just wrapped up our unit on Matter, so what better way to finish than making Oobleck! The kids had a blast getting messy and learning along the way!
This week 2nd grade has been working on creating arrays. On Tuesday, Mrs. Barbeau’s class learned that math can be absolutely delicious when it includes fruit loops! Rows, columns, equal groups… and a very strong argument for why math should always include snacks.
Our pre-K staff celebrated earning the Gold Circle of Quality from ExceleRate Illinois, reflecting high standards in instructional excellence, family services, staff qualifications, professional development, and program administration. Congratulations, Pre-K!
A letter to parents and guardians from the Belleville Police Department regarding this weekend's Oktoberfest.

Celebrating Kindness & Character at Ellis!
What an amazing day at our first Character Education Assembly! We celebrated our Caring Character Kids of the Month and spent time together in small group activities building connections and growing as a school family.
A huge shoutout to the students who earned a spot in the Cash Cage for their Positive Office Referrals and Roadrunner Bucks - your hard work and positive choices paid off!
