Children in Mrs. Whitman’s class received their first book of the month! Mrs. Whitman did a Scholastic fund raiser and raised enough money to purchase a book for each child in her class every month this school year! Happy reading 📖

Welcome to the 175 Family, Ms. Sierra Stratton! Ms. Stratton is a K-3 Special Education Teacher at Ellis Elementary. This is her 6th year teaching and is currently working on her educational administration degree through McKendree University. Ms. Stratton says she became a teacher because she wanted to make a difference in the lives of children and help them reach their full potential. Welcome to the 175 Family, Mr. Jordan Chavez! Mr. Chavez is the Science Teacher at Emge Jr. High. This is Mr. Chavez’s third year teaching and is very excited for this upcoming school year to get to build relationships with the children and people in this great community. Mr. Chavez stated, “I strongly believe knowledge is the most powerful tool you can access in this world. My passion for teaching and education starts with that.
