STEAM lab loved the VR goggles!
Mrs. Hibler's class enjoyed the STEM activity. Their goal is to build a structure out of toothpicks and marshmallows to withstand an "earthquake". They had to make a blueprint and collaborate ideas!

Members of Mrs. Keck’s ELA power hour group completed Genius Hour projects. Each student chose their own topic to research and create a presentation about. Today they presented to the class.

Eagle Coffee Crew is up and running! These first few weeks of delivering coffee has been a blast. Students are learning to balance a budget and keep track of inventory.
Ms. Peña’s 6th grade class celebrating with some karaoke and uno for their class hangman! The class received compliments from different teachers and staff throughout the building to earn letters towards their reward!
GCS Stadium Baseball & Softball Games have been rescheduled to Thursday, Oct. 10th

Coding club is back at it this year and the vote is in!! The students have decided to work on Drones, 3D Printing, Virtual Reality Goggles, and Lego Robotics this school year.

Mrs. Foran's 8th grade art classes went to Paris, Barcelona, New York and Brazil looking at modern architecture on the schools new VR headsets!!

Mrs. Keck’s class was able to utilize flexible seating during their math lesson!

Mrs. Keck’s class has been practicing being more student-led. The students are in charge of writing the correct answers to the math warm up at the start of power hour. They pass off the pen and help each other when stuck.
Ms. Hasenstab's 5th grade class met their second reward of being 10 days referral free; they enjoyed a fun snack and drink while watching Garfield.
Ms. Lucas’s class had so much fun learning about the new VR headsets in the STEAM room. We explored various Olympic stadiums from the past and had experiences with lions, sharks, and spiders!
