SAVE THE DATE – Belleville West High School is hosting Freshman Parent Night & Open House for BW incoming 9th graders and their families. It will take place on Wednesday, January 21st. The evening will start with a 50-minute presentation in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) and will conclude with an Open House of the school. There will be two presentation options, with start times at 5:15 pm and 6:15 pm - we ask families to come to ONE of the sessions (choose the time that works best for your schedule). This is the first step of the high school registration process - Don’t miss it!

Our 2nd and 3rd grade students at Ellis have been encouraged to complete a Library Scavenger Hunt. This is to help them learn how to better locate books in the library and to encourage them to read a wider variety of books. Each week, they check out a book from a category listed on the scavenger hunt. After completion of the scavenger hunt, students will receive a brag tag and a special surprise. We saw lots of smiles this week as students began selecting their first book!
