CROSS COUNTRY We will have a tryout for Cross Country after school on Thursday (8/17/23). Students that are trying out for the Cross Country team will change after school into comfortable running clothes, and meet under the pavilion behind our school to meet Coach Pappert. Practice tonight is canceled due to rain, and potential rain to come during practice. Practice will be rescheduled for tomorrow (Thursday; 8/10) from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the Signal Hill fields. Players can turn in contracts/concussion paperwork to the Emge or Harmony offices during the open house tomorrow, or can wait until Monday’s practice to give to Coach McNeill.

Softball tryouts for Wednesday, Aug.2nd, have been canceled due to the rain that we are supposed to be getting tomorrow morning during our tryout time. We will resume tryouts for softball on Thursday, Aug. 3rd from 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Signal Hill. If you have questions please reach out to Coach Simmons or Mr. Bauer. There will be more information for Soccer and Cross Country tryouts at our registration day this week. If you are not able to make it to school, the information will be posted on the school's live feed and Facebook page. Tryouts for soccer and Cross Country will start some time the week of August 7th. Please make sure that students wanting to try out have been registered for school, and that they have an updated physical on file. Any questions, please contact Mr. Bauer

Baseball will have another day for a tryout, since we were able to hold tryouts before we left for the summer. This day will serve as a tryout, and as our first team practice. If you did not make the team from our last tryout, please come back out to show what you have worked on over the summer! There will be another schedule handed out on that day, along with other paperwork. Students in 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade a eligible to tryout for baseball. Softball tryouts will be held at the Signal Hill fields from 7/31-8/4. Times will be from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Grades eligible for tryouts are 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Students must be registered for school, and must have an updated physical on file. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Bauer. We will again be partnering with Signal Hill this year to field a softball team. The fields are behind their gymnasium. Cured And Cultured (6401 W Main St, Belleville, IL 62223) is hosting a fundraiser for the Harmony District 175 Educational Foundation on Monday, June 27 (11 am - 9 pm). 10% of proceeds will be donated to this wonderful foundation that helps support students in the Harmony/Emge School District. We hope to see you there!

Registration for the 2022-23 school year is now open! Check your email for specific information on how to register through Teacherease and how to submit the required residency information. Please call your child's school office if you have any questions.

7th grade students in Mrs. Downard’s homeroom practiced teamwork as they tried to “Escape to Summer Break.” All teams were successful!

As the 8th Grade Promotion Parade tonight draws near, the weather forecast calls for scattered thunderstorms. Due to the weather forecast, we will move our Promotional Parade to TOMORROW, FRIDAY, MAY 20th. All other details will remain the same for tomorrow.

The 8th grade field trip to Camp Wartburg yesterday was a blast!

Come see Frozen Jr. at Emge Junior High and watch our talented Harmony and Emge students perform! There are two more performances - tonight, May 13th @ 7 PM (doors open at 6:30) and tomorrow, May 14th @ 2 PM (doors open at 1:30). Tickets are $8 for adults and $7 for students. We can't wait to see you there!

Mrs. Enyart's 8th Grade History classes celebrated passing both the United States and Illinois Constitution tests. We are so proud of their hard work!
